Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.  Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. – St. Paul, A.D. ~48

About Us + What to Expect
Baleville Congregational Church is just that – the church. We are people of God, trusting God, following God and worshiping God. Everything we do – including helping those around us who have addictions and and abuse and broken marriages and trauma and needs – we do in the Name of Jesus and in alignment with His kingdom way of being, doing and living. This way is revealed in our personal experiences with Jesus, affirmed by our public community in Jesus and clarified as truthful in the scriptures about Jesus. That means although our staff might have all kinds of secular training, credentials, clinical experience and education – and they do – we minister out our faith in Jesus, His redeeming work and His clear, loving and truthful call to be embraced by God and to embrace God ourselves. We believe that all lasting change comes through life-changing encounters with Jesus among people who love and listen to your story as a sacred one.
So what does all that mean? It means simply that as we help to heal the whole person – mind, body and spirit – we do so as spiritual people with ultimately a spiritual desire, that you, your family member or someone you know will experience healing, reconciliation and wholeness through the presence of God revealed by the care of others taking place in the power and Name of Jesus. It’s important to make this note because we don’t offer covered psychological counseling or medical care. If you want to try that we can  point you in the right direction. What we can do – and are doing – is help you get to the root of the spiritual, emotional and relational issues and wounds in your life to experience not just recovery, but redemption. We would love an opportunity to show you your worth, your value and the hope in front of you because we believe your life and living that life fully is incredibly valuable to God, can be done only in God and is in fact the desire of God. Come by and see us at Baleville. Here, hope is alive and well.
